Building Character
I recently did some pondering with a friend and we came up with the following dogma:
Watch your thoughts they become your words!
Watch your words they become your actions!
Watch your actions they become your habits!
Watch your habits they become your character!
Watch your character it becomes your destiny!

I am pretty sure I have seen something very similar to that somewhere. If I find it again, I will send it to you.
I'm most familiar with Creflo Dollar's advice, "words affect your thoughts, thoughts affect your emotions, emotions affect your action, actions affect your life." I may have the quote not precisely right but close. Also, here is a pretty famous quote presumably from a man called Frank Outlaw. Even if the source isn’t confirmed, the quote is still great:
“Watch your thoughts, for they become words.
Watch your words, for they become actions.
Watch your actions, for they become habits.
Watch your habits, for they become character.
Watch your character, for it becomes your destiny.”
Despite whether it is Creflo, or the above author, or a dogma one adopts - the substance is the most compelling when considering the power of thoughts and words and the impact on our lives, our destiny!
